RESOURCE CENTER FOR THE CRAFT INDUSTRY

The Groupement interprofessionnel des artisans du Togo (GIPATO) has now become the Resource Center for Handicrafts. There are workshops of forging, carpentry, welding and sewing. Furniture, agricultural and hydraulic machinery and construction bricks are produced for the local and sub-regional market. Every year, a craft fair is organized. It brings together artisans from Benin, Guinea, Ivory Coast and many other countries.
