Every Sunday in the vicinity of the central market of Nampula is held a craft market. It's the biggest in the country. You will find sculpture in the round, all kinds of arts and crafts, ornaments and jewellery. Some managers of shops, craft galleries, or street stalls come to negotiate firmly to be able to resell the objects with a good margin. Real antique dealers! One thing is sure, there are many more "good deals" here than in Maputo.
