The Mozambican chain Montebelo has built a small hotel occupying the 4th floor of the most important building in the city. Here, the en suite rooms are more pleasant. The rest of the building is occupied by the restaurant, offices and administrative services, as well as a number of shops, cafeterias and services such as telephone, Internet, supermarket... That's certainly the best place. Free transport to/from the airport. Internet corner upstairs.

If Lichinga does not have any better to offer this should be your option. Huge rooms that lack furniture. Rooms have a stink of motels or 2 star hotel. Don't let the montebelo name pull you in for these rooms are not at par.

É o melhor hotel da cidade de Lichinga. Se não pedes o que estiver em falta no quarto, não terás. O pessoal de serviço é bastante prestativo. Quartos super espaçosos. Se quiser o melhor na cidade, só no Montebelo. Internet existe mas só na recepção e não é boa
