CITY HALL (RATHAUS)

Eisenstadt's central square, with its Baroque architecture, is lined with charming buildings. Such is the case of the town hall. The 27 m-wide façade of the town hall is distinguished by the cornice of its pediment adorned with arches and corbels. It's one of the most remarkable and photogenic buildings in the town center. It features painted frescoes depicting biblical characters and a painted sundial. It houses the town hall, the Burgenland prefecture and a branch of the tourist office.
