This clock tower has been in existence since 1560 and has been telling the time accurately since 1712.

On the Schlossberg, the clock tower dominates the town with its 28 m height. The inhabitants are very attached to it. It has existed since 1560 and has been telling the time accurately since 1712. The large hand indicating the hours was then joined by a small one for the minutes.

From here a staircase leads to the Herberstein Gardens, founded in 1930, where Mediterranean species, including fig and lemon trees, grow and a romantic walk leads to the town centre

Bâtiment emblématique de la ville de Graz, cette tour de l'horloge avec ses aiguilles "inversées" et ses trois cloches est certainement le monument le plus photogénique de la cité. La vue y est spectaculaire. Elle est accessible par l'escalier Kriegssteig, le funiculaire (en révision au mois de mai 2022) ou l'ascenseur
