This beautiful building, whose very visible contemporary frescoes in front evoke the history of Feldkirch, is of ancient origin since its first construction dates back to 1493. At that time, on the ground floor, the market was held in grain, on the floor of the market. After a fire in 1697, the building was filled with a council room. In 1789, it became the headquarters of the local administration.
