Museum featuring rural and mountain habitats, costumes and documents on local cheese dairies

Initiated in 1906 by a group of local residents, this local heritage museum is one of the oldest of its kind in Europe. It is the largest in the valley. It became a museum for the protection of local culture in 1921, and moved to the church square in 1987. Dedicated to the specific characteristics of Montafon, it presents rural and mountain habitats, costumes and documents on local cheese dairies. Paintings and works of art are also on display.
