GOLDENER ENGL ^{* * * *}

The building is historic: situated along the line of the old ramparts, it is around 700 years old and was already documented as a Gasthaus in the ^17th century. Well-kept rooms with every comfort, and several dining rooms with carved panelling. Our preference, however, is for the Augustiner Bräu Keller, whose vast vaulted basement room dates back to the ^15th century. Austrian specialities and invigorating soups are on the menu! On sunny days, you can enjoy a sunny terrace, albeit a noisy one because it's located along the road.
