This large inn, which has been in existence since 1950, boasts a long yellow façade. An old-fashioned house in the best sense of the word, combining Austrian-style hospitality with cosy comfort. Until recently, Gasthof Schatz was best known for its Tyrolean restaurant, serving generous, calorie-packed cuisine that appealed to the sporty clientele of the surrounding mountains. It is now refocused on the hotel business. There is no longer a daily lunch menu, but the restaurant is still open in the evenings.
