Das Hotel Amadeus liegt gut gelegen in einer ruhigen Einkaufsstrasse. Bietet kein Frühstück an (jedoch Kaffee/Tee gratis, Gipfeli auf Bestellung), hat aber in ca. 5 Gehminuten ein paar schöne Cafes zum geniessen. Zimmer war ok, gross, etwas leicht "angeschlagene" Möbel, eines mit sichtbarem Schaden, Fenster und Blick auf ruhige Seite.
Salzburg ist eine reise Wert, hat superschöne Gassen mit Querpassagen und superviele verlockende Süssigkeiten und Shopingmöglichkeiten.

Very cute small hotel on the main walking street. The location is great. There is a parking 100 meters away. The rooms are good size and have a view of the main street. Despite of that it’s a quiet place. The rooms have an antique style decor. The bed was not very comfortable, so it’s not possible to sleep there more than two nights. There was no minibar or water in the room. There is a breakfast area where 24/7 coffee and tea is available.

Schönes kleines Hotel. Das Zimmer war super für drei erwachsene und der Gemeinschaftsraum war sehr schön um sich zu treffen und Kaffee und Kuchen zu geniessen. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Das kleine niedliche Hotel liegt zentral ( man ist in wenigen Schritten an der Brücke und dann in der berühmten Getreidegasse ) mit tollen Zimmern und netten Personal. Es gibt zwar kein reichhaltiges Frühstück, aber einen Getränkeautomaten den man 24 Std.kostenlos benutzen darf , und ringsherum einige Cafés ,wo man frühstücken kann . Ich fand es toll ????

My whole family loved this hotel so much. Perfect location and comfortable historic rooms. I loved the little coffee area, it was so nice to come down, sit and enjoy in the mornings. They offer croissants for breakfast which was perfect for us. Its located so close to everything. We look forward to coming back and staying again.

Nice and comfy rooms, exactly like the hotel.
Clean and neat, with a friendly welcome.
Plenty of restaurants/cafes around and a convenient mere 10 minutes walk from the city center.
This location is perfect if you like urban setting and want to spend a couple of days in Salzburg.
There’s an easy parking nearby if you come by car (19.90 euros a day).

Great stay. Room is super tiny but quiet. Except for the bells that go off every hour. Super clean. Very small shower. Excellent location and easy access to old town Salzburg. I enjoyed my stay here. Lots of good food and drink nearby.

Wir waren letzte Woche für ein paar Tage in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist top, da man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. Die Juniorsuite war großzügig, allerdings nicht so sauber, wie erwünscht. Haare im Bad und Staub im Zimmer. Ebenso hat uns gestört, dass wir das Wasser so lange laufen lassen mussten, bis warmes Wasser kam. Der Empfang am Anreisetag war auch nicht ganz so freundlich, wie wir es sonst kennen. Super war der Aufenthaltsraum mit kostenlosem Kaffee- und Teeangebot rund um die Uhr.

단점은 냉장고가 없다는점 아침을 제공하지 않으나 돈을 내고 1-3유로 미니 크로와상 또는 크로와상샌드위치를 먹을 수있습니다

Really convenient location, but early morning trash trucks can easily be heard (even through earplugs and closed windows). A 20 min walk to the main station but really great for walking around town to see all the POIs and find good restaurants. The terrace was nice to relax on and enjoy a takeout meal on. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are nice. The breakfast croissants are not complimentary and with the prices of those tiny things you are better off going down a few buildings to get some at Spar. The complimentary tea/coffee and honesty bar were nice to have though.

Mitten in Salzburg, eine Top Location! Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet und eine Mischung aus modern und traditionell. Einziges Manko: man konnte dir Badezimmertür nicht komplett schließen. Es blieb immer ein Spalt. Hat mich als Alleinreisende jetzt nicht gestört, zu zweit wär es aber blöd gewesen ????

Siamo stati 2 notti , camera priva di aria condizionata dotata solo di ventilatore e con il caldo di agosto questo purtroppo ha fatto la differenza ! Tenendo aperte le finestre non si riesce a dormire per il rumore che proviene dai locali della strada fino alle 3 di mattina … personalmente non consiglierei …

The rooms are nice enough, but this is not what you’d normally expect from a four star hotel.
Things to keep in mind:
- If you’re traveling by car, I would recommend parking in the lot first and wheeling your bags a block over. Otherwise, you’ll have to get a code from the front desk to enter and exit a very busy pedestrian mall. It’s stressful if you’re not used to driving on ancient roads through crowds and outdoor seating.
- There’s no air conditioning, so it gets very hot in the summer.
- We came on a busy festival weekend during the summer. Given the amount of street noise, we were unable to sleep with the windows open during some very hot nights.
- No breakfast served - though there are some croissants you can pay a la carte for.
- As a couple other people have noted, the body wash smells odd.

In general, the point I would stress the most is the price quality ratio. The price is way to expensive for the quality of the installations. Supposedly they are a 4 star hotel but they had stuck a paper to the wall with the number 12 written by hand to signal the room. The hotel is not what you imagine when you think 4 stars. In addition, the curtains do not fulfill their purpose because at 6 am all of the light was coming in. Therefore if you like sleeping in the dark this is probably not the best place to sleep in.

Perfekt, für unseren Zwischenstop gewesen. Genau in der Altstadt von Salzburg. Sehr freundlich begrüßt worden.
Fenster mussten wir nur Abends /Nachts schließen, da es von der Fußgängerzone her sehr laut war.

Wir waren während der Festspiele für eine Nacht in diesem Hotel und können es nur weiter empfehlen.
Es liegt sehr zentral, alle wichtigen Plätze sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Den Gästen stehen rund um die Uhr eine Kaffeemaschine (gratis) und Getränke aus einem Kühlschrank - mit Anschreiben auf einer Liste - zur Verfügung. Man kann einen gemütlich eingerichteten Aufenthaltsraum nutzen.
Alles sehr unkompliziert und sehr schön :)

Nydelige rom og med fine detaljer og atmosfære!
Rent og flott og god kvalitet.
Vi hadde en bedårende familieleilighet, med to soverom!
Gangavstand til sentrum, nydelige severdigheter og restauranter på rad og rekke.
Ikke aircondition, men romslige og luftige rom, vifte og vindu. Det gikk bra trass veldig varmt vær!
Dyre hotell i denne byen, og dette er ikke av de dyreste, men dette var hvertfall verdt pengene.
Ikke frokost, men tilgang på kaffe og man kan kjøpe croissanter. Ikke kjøleskap eller vannkoker på rom.
Mange kafeer og restauranter i nærheten.
Elsket både byen og hotellet!

Litt lyd fra gaten nattestid, fra glade mennesker. Mange kirkeklokker som ringer, men synes det var sjarmerende.
Kjørte også til Eagle’s nest på dagstur, fantastiske fjell!

Bedroom and bathroom were lovely, very clean. Great location for visiting the old town. You should note the reception desk only opens 8am to 6pm outside of these hours you must have your key to access the hotel

Lage in der Fußgänger zone ist schön.
Hotel ist auch schön eingerichtet.
Bett aber viel zu dünn! Für Seitenschläfer ungeeignet.
Für uns beide leider kein gutes Bett!
Auch wurde das Hotel gerade renoviert was uns nicht mitgeteilt wurde.
Das ist natürlich nicht gut
