Clean hotel in a superb neighborhood offering a good, full and varied breakfast.
At the foot of the Kapuzinerberg, on the UNESCO-listed pedestrian street on the right bank of the Salzach, this is our favorite 4-star hotel in Salzburg! A lively heritage district, spacious, tastefully decorated rooms in a purely Salzburg atmosphere, a charming welcome and a beautiful historic building... What more could you ask for? The establishment is run by the same team as the renowned Hotel Stein, in the tradition of quality hotels. The vaulted lounge on the first floor, with tea, herbal tea and coffee available all day long, is a real highlight.

Das Hotel Amadeus liegt gut gelegen in einer ruhigen Einkaufsstrasse. Bietet kein Frühstück an (jedoch Kaffee/Tee gratis, Gipfeli auf Bestellung), hat aber in ca. 5 Gehminuten ein paar schöne Cafes zum geniessen. Zimmer war ok, gross, etwas leicht "angeschlagene" Möbel, eines mit sichtbarem Schaden, Fenster und Blick auf ruhige Seite.
Salzburg ist eine reise Wert, hat superschöne Gassen mit Querpassagen und superviele verlockende Süssigkeiten und Shopingmöglichkeiten.

Very cute small hotel on the main walking street. The location is great. There is a parking 100 meters away. The rooms are good size and have a view of the main street. Despite of that it’s a quiet place. The rooms have an antique style decor. The bed was not very comfortable, so it’s not possible to sleep there more than two nights. There was no minibar or water in the room. There is a breakfast area where 24/7 coffee and tea is available.

Schönes kleines Hotel. Das Zimmer war super für drei erwachsene und der Gemeinschaftsraum war sehr schön um sich zu treffen und Kaffee und Kuchen zu geniessen. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Hotel ist auch schön eingerichtet.
Bett aber viel zu dünn! Für Seitenschläfer ungeeignet.
Für uns beide leider kein gutes Bett!
Auch wurde das Hotel gerade renoviert was uns nicht mitgeteilt wurde.
