CAMPING

This is an ideal spot to camp at the end of August, when the darkness returns, accompanied by the wonderful northern lights. The caretaker warns you when they are out. Although rather modest, this campsite is also appreciated for the incomparable view when you wake up, right on the sea with a beautiful view of the Snæfellsnes glacier, in the north. The hot shower is free and the sanitary facilities are clean. There are also a variety of trails nearby for walking and bird watching.
