große Campingwiese vor dem Hotel mit Meerblick, auf einer Seite von einer Baumreihe begrenzt. Es gibt einenalten Container mit WCs und Duschen, außerdem
ein sehr schönes großes Servicehaus mit einer super ausgestatteten Küche (sogar Geschirr und Besteck ist vorhanden) und weiterean 3 WCs
Im Hotel kann man sehr gut zu Abend essen - Anfang September allerdings nur von 18:30-19:30

Campeggio di per sé carino anche se costoso (2.400 corone per persona. Se ti "beccano" a campeggiare senza aver pagato il prezzo raddoppia). Un piccolo bagno abbastanza pulito, con due lavelli di acqua fredda, due bagnetti e una doccia. Cucina a disposizione, che però noi non abbiamo utilizzato perché ci sono dei tavolini da campeggio all'aperto carini. Abbiamo avuto una brutta esperienza con un signore poiché stavamo usando il suo cavo dell'elettricità, che avendo trovato incustodito al nostro arrivo, pensavamo fosse del campeggio. Ci ha urlato contro in inglese che il cavo era suo, e abbiamo capito che probabilmente ci sono degli habitué che occupano sempre gli stessi posti. Non lo trovo giusto che si lasci il cavo attaccato per poi ritrovare il posto la sera. L'elettricità è inclusa nel costo del campeggio, noi eravamo qui prima e meritavamo di stare attaccati alla colonnina. Credo sia un grande scivolone da parte del campeggio permettere tutto ciò.

Such a wonderful campsite! You can pay inside until 12am.
The best facilities we encountered in Iceland. The kitchen is gorgeous, huge, and warm. The showers aren’t any extra $ and there’s a separate bath house for men and women with extra toilets in the kitchen house.
The hotel restaurant food was delicious and the coffee was INCREDIBLE. You get to sit with the beautiful view of the beach. The woman running the reception and the younger staff working the kitchen were all so kind and we would have stayed longer if we could!

Jeden z lepszych campingów na Islandii na jakim byłam. Mały, kameralny, z klimatem, widokami i kościółkiem. Cudowna, ciepła kuchnia, w pełni wyposażona, z widokiem zapierającym dech. Jest toaleta i prysznic przy polu campingowym, ale w razie potrzeby można też skorzystać z prysznica w hotelu. Hotel nie jest nowy, ale ma swój urok. W razie potrzeby jest na miejscu restauracja z barem. Mało ludzi, piękne plaże i klify tuż obok, ciepła atmosfera.

Amazing place to stay, the staff and owners are AMAZING and so very welcoming, we camped out in our camper-van and because the hot water in the camping showers had just broke they let us take showers in the hotel for free. If I could rate this place 10 stars, I’d still give it 11!
Lots of puffins here in the early June, and the closest place to camp at the edge of the world (the western most tip of Europe) but it really does feel like the edge of the world

Alles schon ziemlich alt, selbst das Restaurant/Hotel ist rein optisch ...in die Jahre gekommen. Aber der Platz war sauber, die sanitären Einrichtungen auch. Für 2400 Kronen pro Person (????) war Strom, Dusche und Waschmaschine (kein Trockner!) inklusive. Wir standen autark, mussten den vollen Preis aber trotzdem bezahlen. Die letzten 24 km der Anfahrt waren mehr als holprig auf einer Schotterstraße, die von Schlaglöcher nur so gespickt war. Mit dem Leihwagen kann es einem egal sein, nicht aber, wenn man mit dem eigenen Wagen anreist! Falls ihr zu den Papageientauchern wollt: die Piste wird auf den letzten 6 km dorthin noch mal deutlich schlechter!

Very nice campsite- great view, big and well equipped kitchen & clean toilets. We paid 2400isk/person . shower and laundry included. (We used the shower on the hotel side. The one in camp area was broken)

Camping en un sitio precioso con una cocina muy bien equipada y muy grande. Lo único malo el precio, 2400isk por persona.

A wonderful place, on the edge of the world with many amenities for those who travel there either to birdwatch or to reach the southernmost tip of the European continent. The campsite is welcoming, organised, clean, warm with brand new or well maintained facilities.

We loved this campground and took advantage of the really nice kitchen to make dinner and watch the sunset. No complaints at all!

Uno de los mejores campings de Islandia. En una zona espectacular y con una sala común con cocina y todo tipo de menaje, muy acogedora. Los baños algo pequeños pero en nuestro caso suficientes para la gente que había acampada.

Its the only campsite and rest area nearby so ????♀️ (more 3.5stars)
Adv: have quite well equipped kitchen and toilet/bathroom. Didn’t use bathroom so cannot tell. Fine view. Maybe better when it’s doing great.
Disadv: many birds nearby so could be the noise wake you up at night. Almost no cellular at the campsite (you have Wi-Fi at reception).
Other:
I saw 2200isk in May and 2400isk now in July, but the price includes electricity. It’s acceptable price for its location and as probably the only choice nearby. However,
there are 12 total electricity output (what I’ve seen) in campsite. So when it’s full with campers and camping car, good luck to find one to use ????
Some use drone at 5am :( make my personal exp less good so not fault of campsite

Only one shower for each gender, hot water but not clean. Really good kitchen. Free WiFi only in the reception area, no cellular reception in the camp ground. Free washing machine without dryer. Very expensive - 2400isk per person. Not many to choose from in the western fjords, but if you can - avoid it.
