3 star hotel facing the fjord, with a restaurant and modern decorated rooms, some with a view on the fjord
Very well located in front of the fjord, this 3 star hotel opened a few years ago has 40 beautiful, modern and well decorated rooms, some with a magnificent view of the fjord. All rooms are equipped with TV, bathroom, safe, hot drinks, hair dryer... The on-site Skel lounge restaurant serves delicious and well-presented dishes. At the level of the services expected from a hotel of the Fosshotel chain, you will not be disappointed if you stop here for one or more nights. Free parking is also available on site.

Of the 8 hotels we stayed at in Iceland, this was our least favorite. The service was least effort possible. Coffee machine at breakfast didn't work properly the entire time we were there and no one seemed to care. We had a toilet that was leaking all over the bathroom floor and not sure who designed the shower in this room, but putting a curtain in a 1X1M shower means it sticks to you the entire time you're in there. You won't have many choices in this area, but I'd look elsewhere if you can.

Ein tolles Hotel, mit sehr nettem Personal in bester Lage mit Blick auf den Ozean. Gemütliche Zimmer und eine sehr herrliche Atmosphäre.

Nice hotel with location on the fjord. The room we had, not very large in size, had fjord view and was equipped with everything we needed. Bathroom quite small. Breakfast good with varied choice of sweet and savory. Restaurant good. Special thanks to the girl who during check-out (on September 11) helped us with a problem with our car.
