excellent camping and excellent staff. There is amazing hot spa outside with a beautiful view. I recommend this place.

We arrived late and no one but guests was there, we could check in by paying to the POS in the main facility.
There is plenty space for van, RVs and campers. Tents are placed in a field beside the main building, which is equipped with shared showers, only one bathroom and a big dressing room, which also serves the three bath tubs which are around 38C (there is a smaller one for children which is at 35C). These pools are open overnight and it is truly a good experience for the small price we paid, totally worth it.
These camp is also close to the main attractions in the golden circle. Fantastic.

We had two houses here. When showing the house, the showing felt very rushed by the receptionist, barely answering our questions about the house. We woke up in the morning with the 4 of us in 1 house hearing that someone entered our house and was walking in it. Knowing the door was locked, it must have been reception. This is definitely a no go for me, it makes me feel very unsafe.
Edit: we were off eating breakfast somewhere else, when we came back, they were there again? I immediately checked if all my belongings where still there. We did get an apology, they thought we were already gone so they started cleaning the place.
The facilities were very good! A rain shower, kitchen (some items are broken, like the coffee maker), hot tub (full of hairs?), very good beds and an amazing view on 1 of the houses, the other house was sadly in the woods without a view.
Edit: we were off eating breakfast somewhere else, when we came back, they were there again? I immediately checked if all my belongings where still there. We did get an apology, they thought we were already gone so they started cleaning the place.

Der Campingplatz ist okay, aber nichts besonderes.
Die Campingfläche ist unten am Hügel und die Rezeption zum Bezahlen ist auf dem Hügel im Restaurant. 1800isk pro Person für eine Nacht.
Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum, in dem aber nicht gekocht werden darf, mit 2 Spülbecken. Der Raum ist beheizt. Bei uns war es sehr windig was das draußen Kochen mit dem Gaskocher sehr schwer gemacht hat! Ich hätte gerne drinnen gekocht…
Auf der Terrasse des Aufenthaltsraumes gibt es einen Hot Pot und einen kleinen Pool, die aber nicht gut gepflegt sind. Der Ausblick von hier ist aber wirklich schön!
Es war alles nicht sehr sauber, aber ok.

Campingplatz an sich war ok, nichts besonderes. Sanitäranlagen waren mittelmäßig sauber.
Unser größtes Problem war, dass man im Aufenthaltsraum nicht kochen durfte, was bei relativ windigem Wetter draußen dann doch eher schwierig war. Im Aufenthaltsraum selber gibt es zwei Spülbecken und zwei (nicht eingesteckte) Kühlschränke und zwei Waschmaschinen. Es standen zwei riesige Müllsäcke mitten im Zimmer, was eher negativ zum Ambiente beitrug.
Draußen gibt es einen Hotpot und zwei kleine Warmwasserbecken, die nicht zur Benutzung einluden... Das große Schwimmbecken dient mittlerweile als Terasse.
Von der Terasse aus hat man einen wirklich tollen Blick über die Landschaft!

Grande prairie très propre, bloc WC et petit abri bois avec barbecue à 200m accès douches chaudes, WC, salle commune et accès piscines chaude. Le tout pour 1300 isk par personne. Petit effort à faire sur le ménage seul petit bémol. Très bon accueil, restaurant et bar sur place

Summer camping
Check In: go to the top of the hill and there is a building next to the restaurant/bar. You can pay via card/Apple Pay.
In that area there is a sink, water boiler, washer/dryer (which you need to pay for). Leading out to the back there are open showers. There is a hot tub! Very refreshing after a long day of traveling with a magnificent view.
Campground itself was ok. Lots of space. Also had 4 WCs and 3 sinks.
Things to note:
- We stayed here twice. It is noticeably less busy during the weekdays. The site filled up during the weekend and the bathroom area was kind of messy. Toilets are clean though.

Decent camping ground. We arrived late past 10pm and checked ourselves in. We were glad to see that the showers were still open and included in the price with no time limit. The bathrooms could’ve been cleaner but overall a decent place to stay.

Miejsce z pięknym widokiem. Korzystaliśmy z 8-osobowego domku, w którym było dostępne absolutnie wszystko co niezbędne. Plusem jest duży salon i jadalnia, gdzie wieczorami można wspólnie posiedzieć. Na tarasie duża wanna z wodą termalną, można się zagrzać i zrelaksować po całym dniu zwiedzania.

We were here with our Camper. Electricity is available. Only one toilet for each male/female. Hot Tup available. View is quite nice. We had dinner there in the restaurant .

Heerlijk huisje waar we 3 nachten verbleven. Ons huisje was gerenoveerd: nieuwe badkamer en keukenblok, met Nespressomachine, goede oven en inductiepláat. Heerlijke stortdouche en erg goed 2 p bed. Verder een zeer comfortabele loungebank binnen en een groot terras. Zalig zitten buiten op de veranda en ontspannen in de hottub. Volledige privacy.

Campingplatz war gut. Nicht voll. Toiletten (3)waren sauber und auch die Waschebecken (3)waren sauber.
Oben am Pool war der selfcheck in (Kreditkartengerät lag auf einem Tisch 12€p.P. )

Naja, entspricht nicht ganz der Beschreibung bzw. den Bildern die Unterkünfte sind wohl sehr individuell eingerichtet aber in Ordnung ????

Die Bilder entsprachen nicht immer der Wirklichkeit. Das Hauptgebäude machte einen kaotischen und ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Unterkunft war sehr einfach gehalten. Wir würden nicht nochmal hier buchen.

This camping is located near to Geysir and next to a road so very easy to access. Nice staff.
Positive points
- There is a hot tub included in the price
- Fair price (around 1500-1600 ISK/pers)
- Acess to a warm kitchen/common room with a boiler, kuttler and a washing machine.
- toilets and showers (common one for men on one side and women on the others).
Negative points:
- the view is not incredible (however it was raining this day).
- Only one toilet/ area (one for men and one for women).
Nice camping especially if the wheather is bad and you need a place to warm up.

Nice campground. Very warm welcome. The showers are spacious, warm water and well heated. There is a very clean hot tub we didn’t use because it was too stormy. The view from the balcony is amazing. There is a restaurant/cafe that has pizza burgers and similar snacks. Common rooms, washer/dryer, kettle…Really a well rounded campsite.

Camping très sympa. Attention il n'y à pas de cuisine mais une pièce chaude pour manger dedans quand même et boire une boisson chaude, bouilloires sur place. On ne peut pas cuisiner dedans. Les douches sont types vestiaires, tout le monde en même temps. Le seul bain possible aujourd'hui à été le jacuzzi. Delicieux!! L'endroit est calme, il y à un restaurant avec le 1er prix pizza à 2500 sk bonne taille, très bonne.
1800 sk par personnes douches, toilettes, jacuzzi compris. Ça change des campings catastrophiques de la région de Vik.

Bardzo dobra miejscówka. Cicha i spokojna, z pięknym widokiem z jacuzzi. Wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy było na miejscu. I nawet polka na recepcji.

Świetnie położenie w ustronnym miejscu. W maju 2023 roku dolny kemping był jeszcze zamknięty. Auta parkuje się na górnym parkingu przed restauracją i recepcją. Spaliśmy w campervanie. Za osobę 1800 ISK. Spore ogólnodostępne pomieszczenie ze stołami i krzesłami jest ogrzewane. Pralka, suszarka, zlewy do pomywania, elektryczny czajnik, lodówka. Brak kuchni, a w pomieszczeniu jest zakaz używania własnych kuchenek. Taras z fajnym widokiem na którym możesz skorzystać z kąpieli w hot tub. Prysznice i przebieralnia jak na basenie. Bez ścian działowych. W męskiej części tylko jedna toaleta. W budynku głównym restauracja. Polecamy burgery z szarpanej baraniny lokalnego chowu. Po godzinach pracy recepcji możliwość samodzielnego zapłacenia za nocleg.

Optional Waschmaschine und Trockner für je 900 ISK.
Netter Gemeinschaftsraum im Gebäude neben der Rezeption mit 2 Spülen und ein paar Steckdosen. Im Preis inbegriffen ist die Nutzung der Hot tubs. Ein großer (eher Schwimmbecken) war Anfang August 2023 geschlossen. Einer mittlerer Größe für ca. 10 Personen mit 38-40 °C + anliegendes Kinderbecken war geöffnet. Zudem noch ein kleiner (Größe wie ein Whirlpool).
