The Gay Pride is a major event in Iceland, gathering tourists and locals around many festivities. Nice atmosphere!

Iceland is very committed to the fight against discrimination. The first country to legalize equal pay for men and women, it is also a country committed to sexual and gender minorities, and therefore a perfect paradise for homosexuals and the LGBTQIA community. So it's hardly surprising that Gay Pride is a major event in Iceland, attracting crowds of locals and tourists every year. Floats, parades and concerts are all part of the fun to be had in the capital.
