BARDEJOV JEWISH PRESERVATION COMMITTEE

The town's Jewish community was completely decimated during the Holocaust. As the local victims of the Holocaust could not be given graves, this monument serves to pay tribute to them. The Bardejov Jewish Preservation Committee launched the project on land allocated by the city of Bardejov. The site provides access to the old community buildings (old synagogue, baths and school), which are currently being renovated to become a cultural center.
