OLD TOWN HALL - (HISTORICKÁ RADNICA)

Built after the fire of 1550 and renovated in 1615 after the second fire of 1599, this building is a fine example of Renaissance architecture, with its beautiful two-storey arcades and belfry. The museum is dedicated to the history of the town. On the second floor, the visit begins with the splendid Salle des Conclaves, a sort of council of wise men, and continues with the notary's office and the executioner's room. The second floor is dedicated to the city's history during the ^20th century.
