A swimming pool abandoned in the 1970s was transformed into a cultural centre and contemporary art gallery for "Košice, European Capital of Culture 2013". Among the world-renowned personalities who have already exhibited in Kunsthalle are, for example, Tony Cragg, a British sculptor. Since 2016, the red carpet of the Art Film Fest Košice has also been laid there.
