MIKLUŠ PRISON (MIKLUSOVA VÄZNICA)

This former prison is now a museum of criminal law and medieval justice. The two original Gothic houses, with their famous pottery workshop, were converted from the 17th to the 19th century into a prison and torture chamber. In the adjacent underpass above Hrnčiarska is the executioner's apartment. Today it houses a museum with the historical exhibition "Košice through the centuries".
