MUSEE DU DR GRESIGER (MÚZEUM DR. GREISIGERA)

Michal Greisiger worked as a doctor in this city between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. He is also known for his activities as a naturalist, physicist, ornithologist and amateur entomologist. He was interested in bird migration and wrote a study on the life and migration of more than 150 bird species in the Spiš region. This museum traces the life of this surprising specialist who died on September 10, 1912, at the age of 61.
