This museum pays tribute to the work of Jozef Maximilián Petzval (1807-1891). Born in this house in Spišská Belá, this mathematician and physicist is considered the inventor of optical geometry, photography and modern cinematography. This museum presents nearly 600 objects retracing the history of the photographic lens, a daguerreotype designed with an objective that made Petzval known. A place for photographers to enjoy.
