This beautiful building, which combines several architectural styles, is located in the middle of Kežmarok's central square. The first Gothic town hall built on this site, in 1461, was the victim of the great fire of 1521. It was first rebuilt in Renaissance style between 1541 and 1555 by a local master named Kunz. The tower was donated in 1641 and the entire building was rebuilt a second time in 1779 in the classical style. The last modifications were made with the erection of a second floor following the 1922 fire.
