PROTESTANT CHURCH (EVANJELICKÝ KOSTOL)

The Evangelical Church of Spišská Sobota is located at the far west of the square. Built in a classic Baroque style, it dates back to 1777. It has beautiful religious objects such as candlesticks, chalices and silverware. A beautiful altar is attributed to the famous local masters, Karol Walachy and Bedrich Grün. It is decorated with a painting of Christ on the Mount of Olives. The pulpit, the baptismal font, the empora and the classical organ date back to the 19th century.
