SKANZEN DE LIPTOV (MÚZEUM LIPTOVSKEJ DEDINY)

This skansen is located after Prybilina in the direction of Podbanské, about twenty kilometres northeast of Liptovský Mikuláš. When the artificial lake of Liptovský Mikuláš was created, the most beautiful buildings and beautiful traditional wooden houses intended to be submerged were transported and preserved here. The museum also acquired a steam locomotive Kačena. It offers visitors a unique and historically rich image of Liptov's medieval residences.
