JOURNÉES DE JÁNOŠIK (JÁNOŠIKOVÉ DNI)

In the middle of summer, an exceptional international folklore festival is held, which is a tribute to the legendary national hero Jánošík. It is held in late July and early August in its home town of Terchová. For more than half a century, tens of thousands of folk art and folklore enthusiasts have gathered in this small town to party for five days, to dance and drink to traditional music.
