KREMNICA CASTLE (KREMNICKÝ MESTSKÝ HRAD)

Accessible from Štefánik Square. This medieval building was built between the 13th and 15th centuries. It dominates the main square with its double fortifications. In its centre, the Gothic church of St. Mary is enthroned. Catherine, which has a neo-Gothic interior, its side altar is decorated with a statue of the Virgin Mary dating from the 15th-16th centuries. The church has preserved from the Renaissance period, a Tuscan column and a pink marble baptismal font.
