CENTRAL SK MUSEUM (STREDOSLOVENSKÉ MÚZEUM)

Before entering, notice the magnificent sgraffiti on the façade of this beautiful late 15th century bourgeois house (Thurzov House). This house, renovated in 2008, houses a museum dedicated to the history and culture of the region from the Neolithic period to the present day. Through 12 thematic areas, one can follow the development of this region of Central Slovakia, especially thanks to its mining industry. In addition, the museum frequently organizes cultural events.
