PILSNER – PLZEŇSKÁ

This bar-restaurant is set in a beautiful vaulted room on the main square. It serves good traditional Czech and Slovak cuisine, with fine cuts of meat sold by the kilo for several people. If there's more than one of you and you're not afraid of cholesterol, try the bakedpecene koleno (ham hock)! The beers are, of course, excellent. Wines by the glass and a good wine list, as the wine cellar next door ("U Kemov") is in fact the same house. Lunch menus are the best value in town.
