The tourist office (Turistické informačné centrum Banská Štiavnica) is located in the main square, and its friendly staff will provide information on the town's cultural sights, accommodation options and outdoor activities in the nearby hills. On request, a guided tour of the city, or a thematic tour, can be arranged. This is an opportunity to discover the beautiful town centre, the mines and many other treasures of the Banská Štiavnica region.
