When to go à CAPRI ?

Italy's climate is generally very pleasant. However, Italy has three climatic zones. The northern mountains have a rather harsh alpine climate. The Po Valley has a continental climate with cold winters and hot, stormy summers. In the south, especially in Capri, there is a Mediterranean climate with very hot and dry summers and mild and relatively rainy winters. The inland mountains have a much colder climate than the coast, with snow in winter. The weather should be taken into account when planning your stay in Capri.

When to go to Capri? The very high tourist season in Capri is during the first two weeks of August. It is then a parade of ferries and tourists from Naples. The island empties a little in the evening. The two most pleasant periods to stay in Capri are May, June and September. You can enjoy all the pleasures of the beach and outdoor activities without the heat wave or the crowds of tourists. The island remains very pleasant in October and from April. Even outside the tourist season you will find accommodation and food. From June to September inclusive, the sea temperature is around 25°C. In January/February the temperature varies between 5 and 14°C, in July/August from 20 to 31°C.
