We spent 4 nights at Hotel Pellegrino, and it was easily the best hotel stay we have ever had. We can easily say this was a result of the care and thoughtfulness we experienced as guests. We chose this hotel based on the countless 5 star reviews from former guests, and after our stay I truly wish we could give more than 5 stars. They deserve it!!!

From arrival, we were greeted by Federico at the front desk and showed to our immaculacy clean room, full of character. He also provided us with a WhatsApp number to connect with him throughout our stay, and many recommendations of things to do in the area. Each of the 10 rooms has a very private balcony that looks out to an incredible view of Praiano and the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, the restaurant on the top floor holds both an indoor and terrace view. Simply incredible!

Daniela is an INCREDIBLE chef and prepared the best breakfasts and dinners we experienced during our 10-day stay in Italy. Alessia also welcomed us and assisted us with anything we needed throughout our stay, including providing us with recommendations for the area and serving breakfast in the morning. Luigi, their father, was so kind and funny, offering a lift into Praiano, one of the close-by beaches, or the city of Positano upon our request. This was very much appreciated, as we didn’t rent a Vespa until our 3rd day. Last, but certainly not least, Luigi’s wife (whose name has unfortunately escaped me) provided housekeeping services throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

We are already thinking of when we can come back again, to a place that feels like home. Please, if you are debating where to stay during your time in the Amalfi Coast, look no further than Hotel Pellegrino.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pellegrino in August of 2023. I kept forgetting to write a review and am doing it now because it is THAT well deserved. This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. They truly care about each and every one of their guests, they have so many recommendations and will help you figure out your reservations, activities, and travel. The hotel is spotless and the views are to die for. Also, the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was some of the best we had on the entire trip. This truly felt like living in a dream, I would give anything to be back there right now. Since this is a family-owned hotel, you truly can feel the love in all the food and care that they give. I would give 100 stars if I could. If you are debating booking, seriously just DO IT!

Amazed at first sight! Impeccably clean and detailed hotel. The service is first class and the food is prepared by a chef nightly and out of this world. The breakfast here is fresh and delicious. Luigi and his family will be sure to see that you’re well taken care of.

Everything about this hotel is impressive. The owner Luigi and his staff/family are extremely helpful and assisted my wife and I with transport, bookings and activity advice. The hotel itself is luxurious/classy and our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony view of the water near Praiano. The included breakfast was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and the portion size was very generous. Location is fantastic; 5 minute walk to Praiano or Luigi will happily drop you into town or even over to Positano. We did the Path of the Gods hike leaving at 6am on our last day and Luigi was more than happy to pack us a beautiful breakfast for the hike as we would miss it at the hotel.. And also collect us from the trail end! All in all, a lovely experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amalfi! Thanks again Luigi and the broader team!!

Non credo di essere mai stato trattato in vita mia con altrettanta gentilezza e signorilità. Disponibilità assoluta, ambiente raffinato ed elegante, prima colazione da Re. Tutta la famiglia che gestisce questo delizioso Hotel è adorabile.
La vista che si gode dalle camere è splendida e non va dimenticato che hanno anche il garage. Non vedo l'ora di tornare a trovarli.

We travel alot and this place is such a delight and so are the people running it. We were impressed with the cleanliness, attention to detail and tasty food. Breakfast was delicious each morning and we ate at the restaurant up top 2 of the 3 nights we were there. They had a menu at dinner but would create just about anything to your liking. The shuttle service from Luigi is incredibly helpful. We explored a lot of the area in a few short days with his services and suggestions, along with his wonderful family. They went above and beyond to guide your day and make things convenient and helpful. As a family run hotel they have a great thing going. We will be recommending Hotel Pellogrino to our friends and family.

This was the best stay on our Italy trip, everyone was so helpful, the hotel takes care of everything for you and was very accommodating. Every employee went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of whether it was recommending locations, getting us reservations, walking us through the best areas to visit, and setting up transportation everywhere we went. The food was amazing at the hotel as well! I would definitely stay here when I come back to the Amalfi Coast, thanks again Hotel Pellegrino!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the beautiful Hotel Pellegrino. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself and the way we were treated exceeded all our expectations. First of all, this family run hotel is staffed by an amazing group of people. Alessia and Federico are the friendly brother and sister team who welcomed us and assisted us with anything we needed. Luigi, their father, graciously drove us to nearby beaches and to our cooking class in town. Since my husband and I had chosen not to rent a car, this service was very much appreciated. Secondly, we enjoyed their restaurant very much for its beautiful view, delicious food, and excellent service. There was a wonderful selection every morning at breakfast, which included omelets, fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries. We chose to eat dinner there on two nights, and could not be happier. Our server, Gennaro, was the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. We took full advantage of his knowledge of wines and pairings. The chef, Luigi’s daughter, Daniela, should be complimented as well for her excellent food preparation. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. Lastly, our room was spotless and the decor was absolutely stunning. Our private terrace offered an exquisite view. The bathroom was very spacious and decorated with Majolica tiles in gorgeous colors and patterns. Our stay in Praiano was a wonderful mix of perfect weather, beautiful scenery, great food and wine, and a delightful stay at the Hotel Pellegrino.

This hotel is a real gem. The owners are extremely friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond with their hospitality. We felt like at home there right away. The hotel its self is very elegant, tastefully furnished and sparkling clean. The rooms are spacious and the views from the lathe patios are breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious with variety of fruits, pastries, crepes and freshly made eggs.
The dinner was a gourmet experience and they have a great collection of Italien wine to choose from.
The family that runs this hotel pours their souls into it and it shows. We did not want to leave and will try to revisit again soon.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Positano and Praiano. Our stay could not have been better. This hotel is run by a family whose attention to detail and hospitality were exceptional. They offered pick up and drop off all around the area which was such a nice amenity to have. They made reservations for us for dinner. They offered constant attention regarding our plans for the day and provided instructions to make our lives easier. Dinner at their restaurant was incredibly delicious (the best we had in the area). They offer breakfast daily and this would be my only area of critique. The breakfast is delicious, however, they do serve the same thing each day and a bit of variety would be nice, but I cannot complain.

The hotel is situated in between Positano and Praiano. There are restaurants within walking distance and Positano was a quick drive away. The one fire beach club is also within walking distance, as well as the path of the Gods (which I highly recommend). All in all, if we visit this area again, we will certainly be back! Thank you to the family for such an amazing time!

This place is a gem. Family owned and you are made to feel at home. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, the attention to detail is impressive. Breakfast is incredible and the restaurant is of very high quality. We loved the location and Luigi and family made us feel at home. We were sad to leave , this hotel made our stay perfect. Better than most 5star hotels.

Incredibly warm welcome. Luigi speak French, it discover (free) products and drinks from his region. It recommended us for our voyages. Excellent chef it made us taste his desserts. Quiet room and bay views, very clean interiors. Covered and closed garage. Bravo!
