House with atrium, tablinum and compluvium, frescoed walls of the garden peristyle
Traditional layout for this "House of the Little Fountain", with an atrium (sumptuous entrance hall, so that the visitor instantly understands the social status of the owner of the house) and its tablinum. The roof slopes inwards, the compluvium, intended to drain the rainwater into a central basin dug into the ground, theimpluvium. Note the walls of the peristyle of the garden richly decorated with frescoes illustrating landscapes and maritime buildings.

Here you Can see a different colour: the blue. The fresco Here resembles the painting of the barocque e landscape. The fountain is amazing with this mix of mosaics and shells
