ARCHDIOCESAN ART MUSEUM

The museum recalls the great hours of the Moravian Church through a large collection of Moravian ecclesiastical and liturgical art. It will primarily captivate lovers of contemplation and spirituality. It presents beautiful collections of paintings acquired by various bishops since the 16th century, as well as a very fine treasure. The museum was established on the initiative of former Pope John Paul II during his visit to Olomouc in 1995.
