PLACE DE LA PAIX (NÁMĚSTÍ MÍRU)

It is the main crossroads of the city, the gateway to the historic city. Like most squares in the country, it is rectangular in shape and is framed by a variety of buildings, the most elegant of which is the School of Justice. Noteworthy on the west side is a stele in Romanian and Czech, saluting the memory of the Romanian soldiers who in 1945 liberated the towns of Kroměříž, Kojelin and Uherský Ostroh. The castle tower offers a beautiful view of the square.
