CATACOMBS (PODZEMÍ)

This large set of underground tunnels dating from the 14th century connected in time, with a total length of 27 km, the various cellars of the city, somewhat on the same principle as in the cellars of Brno. The entrance is on Slepičí Řída Square (former chicken market, which allowed traders to get their goods in and out quickly), not far from the town hall. The latter is easily spotted with its high tower with multiple spires that dominates the whole city. Its silhouette is really very original.
