CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS (KOSTEL SV. MIKULÁŠE)

The square in front of the Saint-Nicolas church is decorated with a beautiful wrought iron gate from the 17th century and overlooks the river. Inside, the baroque decoration is superb. One can see there the Madonna of the Bread. On the same square, the discreet St. Wenceslas chapel (Kaple Sv. Václava) is a place of Orthodox worship. The interior is rather basic. However, don't forget to take the gallery that goes around it and that allows to dominate the river and the gardens.
