ROYAL CASTLE AND MUSEUM CHODSKO

This castle has been used several times as a residence for rulers such as John of Luxembourg around 1330. It is one of the few castles in the country located inside the city itself. After a fire at the end of the 16th century, baroque exterior elements were added and the white cylindrical tower that dominates the city (open to the public for the view). The museum of the Chodsko region houses documents on the history of the town and the region.
