LAC BELOÏE

There are three lakes in the Kosino district of Moscow: Lake Beloye (white), Chernoe (black) and Svyatoye (sacred). To add to the confusion, they are all neighbors to each other and the locals don't really distinguish between them since they swim in all three. We are telling you about Beloie because technically it is only officially allowed to swim in this one because it is considered cleaner water and fish swim in it. In the winter, of course, water activities turn into wild skating.
