This contemporary art fair brings together nearly 200 artists in a huge exhibition. The approach is as much artistic as it is commercial and they discuss fashions, trends and the future of the market. It is both very informative and very pleasant to walk among the exhibitors. It's also an opportunity to realize that the country has lost absolutely nothing of its avant-garde potential and its reputation as a breeding ground for talent. Young Russian artists have nothing to envy their elders, and deserve a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of Russia.
