Just opposite the town hall, this pub, associated with Brewery Timothy Taylor, offers a beautifully arranged historical environment with grey or blue paintings and framed archival documents. Opened since 1926, there are sandwiches and small dishes at midday, with British classics all day long. The ingredients often come from the Leeds and Bradford markets.
