This magnificent theatre enjoys a spectacular location, perched on the cliffs of the small municipality of Porthcurno. Although it looks like an antique hemicycle, its construction only began in 1930, thanks to the plans of a tireless English lady, Miss Cade, who completed most of it. It still hosts performances in the summer and the back of each seat bears the inscription of a work : The Merchant of Venice, Alice in Wonderland... If you're in the area during the summer, be sure to spend the evening.

Un endroit sublime qu'il ne faut rater sous aucun prétexte !!! Un théâtre creusé dans la falaise à mains d'hommes par la seule Volonté de fer d'une dame passionnée ! Nous avons eu la chance d'assister aux répétitions d'une troupe de théâtre ???? ...Le tout face à un océan d'un Bleu magnifique....(et que dire de la superbe plage vue d'un des balcons????) .......avec en prime Le passage d'un très gros groupe de dauphins ???? ! Bref un très très beau souvenir ! Un moment de vrai repos , d'échappatoire de notre monde grouillant ! A noter qu'il y a un Super en jardin de plantes grasses et autres .
