Often referred to as one of the best pubs on the island, the Pointer Inn is located in the small village of Newchurch, northwest of Sandown. Its traditional dishes are served in generous portions and include duck, pork, beef, cod, pies, pasta and daily specials. As part of the Fuller's brewery, the establishment also serves a few good beers, of course. If you're looking for a bite to eat and a drink in the area, head to The Pointer Inn, where the welcome is always warm.
