For lovers of ancient history, you can make a detour to the Rockbourne Roman Villa. Indeed, discovered in 1943, it was an important villa of the Roman period in the south of England. It was discovered by a local farmer. The ruins have been restored and are now open to the public. There is also a small museum exhibiting objects found on site, including jewellery, pottery and mosaics. It is one of the largest Roman villas in the area, so don't miss it if you pass by.
