The history of this romantic castle begins in 1270, and is forever linked to Anne Boleyn, mother of Elizabeth^I and second wife of Henry VIII, who spent her childhood here. Her fate can be discovered in the film Two Sisters for a King. There are a number of beautiful rooms to discover, including Henry VIII's drawing room and bedroom. The billionaire who bought the building in 1903 added a collection of miniature houses and a garden with a yew maze.
