SPITFIRE & HURRICANE MEMORIAL MUSEUM

On the site of RAF Manston air base, these attractions recall the region's military past and its role during the Second World War. At the first, you can see a Spitfire MK XVI and a Hurricane IIC, as well as a collection of historical objects, and try your hand at a larger-than-life Spitfire flight simulator. In the second, you can learn more about Manston's role in the two world wars, with aircraft models and vintage parts.
