QINGKOU VILLAGE

The village of Qingkou is an example of Hani Village in Yuanyang region. Even if the place is fast crowded by tourists, there is still a beautiful visit. You can discover typical houses made of stone, brick or bamboo. The Hani habitat consists of two or three floors, the roof of the houses is often covered with grass. One of the houses houses a small museum that will make you discover the customs of this minority. A small path behind the village takes you to the rice fields. Here you will see women in a traditional costume. With the fall of the autumn, all the villagers of Qingkou are in the rice fields to harvest rice.
