FELIX
By leaving the lift, the eye is immediately drawn by the oyster bar (5 m long) on a glass platter. Mahogany Venetian blinds stifle spectacular views over Hong Kong, as if Philippe Starck - the designer of places - wanted to depart from the rule. At the Félix, the spectacular is inside, to the glory of design. On the side of the room, between the rich zinc seals, decorated with translucent pleating fabrics, a staircase leads to the bars on the upper floor. There is even a mini disco (for 5) all tufted, the Crazy Box. The restaurant's cuisine is a subtle blend of flavours of Pacific Asia and French know-how. The menu offers, among other things, a pan-fried foie gras with ginger pickled figs, a duck to mango sauce, a heart salad of palm and spinach with poached shrimp. An indispensable address, if only to take a drink at the bar. The toilets have an incomparable situation; you discover the view on the bay, as outstanding in a glass cage…
