LA LLOTJA DE MAR AND TEODOR GONZÁLEZ MUNICIPAL PARK

Surrounded by a beautiful modern park, the botanical garden (named Teodor Gonzàlez Municipal Park, in honor of the Mexican architect and painter of the same name) opens onto a large avenue surrounded by palm trees and plane trees. You can eat or have a drink at the bar. La Llotja, the Maritime Trade Exchange, is located in the park. It is a Gothic building dating from the 14th century. In the Middle Ages, the Llotja fixed the price of the wheat that came down from Aragon by river.
