PROVINCIAL FORUM

The Provincial Forum was, in the first century, a vast space open to the people, the real political and administrative center of the Roman province of Tarraco. The square was then framed by arcades which today have given way to rows of houses, installed here and there in an arbitrary manner. Nevertheless, the remains of some ancient portals can be seen in the Plaça del Pallol and in the Plaça del Forum.
