The Provincial Forum was, in the First century, a vast open space for the people, a real political and administrative centre of the Roman Tarraco province. The square was then framed by arcades that now gave way to rows of houses, installed here and there arbitrarily. We can still observe the remains of some antique portals on square Del and that of the Forum.
